What Does Dermatologically Tested mean?
We know "dermatologically tested" gets thrown around a lot in the beauty world, so here's exactly what it means for our Loose Mineral Foundation Powder and Earth Cream Tinted Moisturiser.
Both products were applied to 54 people with sensitive or normal skin types, sealed with an occlusive patch, and left on the skin for 24 hours to simulate prolonged wear. This method is one of the most reliable ways to check how a product really behaves on skin.
The result? Not one single participant showed any sign of irritation. So whether your skin is on the sensitive side or not, you can feel good knowing these products have been properly put to the test.
Why only these two products?
Dermatological testing is a significant investment, and as a small brand we wanted to be thoughtful about where we started. We chose these two first because they're both full-coverage face products; the kind you're likely wearing every day.
Our Pressed Mineral Foundation Powder wasn't included simply because it launched after the testing was completed, but it's absolutely on our radar for the future.
Not every product in our range has been through this process yet (we'd rather be upfront about that than not). If you'd like to do a little digging of your own, we list every ingredient on each product page.
This means you can cross-check anything that's important to you and feel confident in what you're putting on your skin!
